The Needles and threads Quilters Guild was founded in 1992 by Julia M. Howard. The founding members were Bessie L. Blake, Charlean K. Byrd, Mildred Hopkins-Calender, Jewell Dooley, Juanita Graham, Ethel Harrelson, Mildred Johnson and Julia M. Howard.
The guild host it's busniess meeting every 4th saturday of the month at Fernwood Park Fieldhouse, 10438 South Wallace, Chicago, IL from 10:00 am to noon. There are also weekly sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the fieldhouse from 10 to noon were members can learn and get help with their projects. |
